Will's First Year Birthday Party

Grandma Kath pulled off a memory maker of a helicopter birthday cake! Will loves to look
high in the sky for airplanes and helicopters.
The creamies were a bigger hit for Will than his cake...he loves ice cream.
The birthday party goers.

Tom and Angie gave Will his first tricycle. Grandpa helped put it together the next day...and of course one must wear the construction hat while doing so!!

Will got a new swing from Grandma and Grandpa! Thanks!!

His walking shoes...love em.

Uncle John and Aunt Shann gave him this "awesome" car and the first day using it Will sat in it for 45 minutes....longer than he has sat still all year!!!

Uncle Tom and Will...good buds.

The birthday boy enjoying some good eats.

My baby is starting to look like a little boy. Happy 1st Birthday little Will. We love you, Wonk.

Beautiful Grandma Kath

Mom, I can't thank you enough for all you have done for the three of us this last year. Every year that passes, I become more impressed by your love and character. I am so glad to have you close by. The bond you have with Will is wonderful and it has been charming to watch the two of you together. Thank you, thank you, thank you for all of your love.

Amy! Thanks for "practicing" your photography with us...you are a natural!!!!

Thanks Auntie Cole

I had to throw this picture in tonight....isn't Ellie the best dog? Here she is playing in Will's tent. She is so patient with Will and is enjoying an increase in table scraps that Will sends her way.
Thanks Auntie Cole for sending balloons the day before my birthday. Nicole wanted to spread out the fun and she thoughtfully sent Will balloons early so he could enjoy the birthday festivities longer. The balloons were a major hit.

We love Aunt Nicole!!!

Now Playing: William Walker

Will gave Grandma Kathy the honor of being the witness to his first steps on September 17th!

What Will Loves

Will LOVES mowing the lawn!! I think our best purchase was the baby bjorn which he has loved since he was six weeks old. He always has wanted to face out, curious and on the go.
Will LOVES Uncle Tom. It has been so much fun watching Tom absolutely LOVE Will, too. Uncle Tom and Will have had an amazing bond from very early on. Will's first word was Mom, then Dad, then ball, and then boat. Will has been boating with Tom and Angie and actually didn't seem to mind his life jacket, fell asleep on the boat, and had to hold on to Uncle Tom's arm while he was driving.

Will LOVES to eat. This was his first corn on the cob attempt and he loved it! His favorite foods include blueberries, avacadoes, cottage cheese, yogurt, spaghetti, pizza, nectarines, butternut squash, chicken tikka masala, chicken curry, and ice cream. He currently is feeding himself with a fork and loves to clap after a really tasty bite of food.

Will LOVES to be outside!! The first event in the morning is to go outside and explore. He loves sticks, rocks, wind chimes, street lamps, trucks, tractors, the gargabe man, blowing bubbles, cold water, and being naked! He loves crawling up the slide better than going down the slide.

Will LOVES his dad!! Cody is amazing with Will. They spend a lot of time playing basketball in the backyard, vacuuming and mowing the lawn in the baby bjorn, and
eating chips and salsa. Thanks for being a wonderful Dad and husband,
Code...I am sincerely so happy to share my life with you!

More Summer Fun

When Grandma comes down to babysit, Will gets to feed Moxie. He usually laughs and laughs as Moxie takes the food from his hand. Will loves having his time with Gramdma and she teaches him so many amazing things. Thanks for all of your help with Will, Mom.

Over Labor Day Weekend we went up to Logan to Grandma and Grandpa's house. Will loves all of Grandpa's interesting things including his collection of Chinese hats...isn't he soooooo cute!

Here are G and G...and yes he is wearing a Lutefisk shirt...thanks Leif and Molly.

Will took his first steps this last week...my Mom got to witness the first steps!! Here we are out in the yard where we spend most of our time...outside. Here is our wonderful neighbor "Aunt Shann" holding a dandelion to bribe Will to walk over to her. We are so thankful to have John and Shann across the street, we see them nearly everyday and they spoil us all rotten.
