Batman and his sidekick

Will and Kate are starting to play more and more together and it has been soooo fun to watch. He loves to play peek-a-boo with her, feed her, wake her up from her nap, and to encourage her to crawl. I took him on a shopping trip and he picked out these batman pajamas and has worn them for about 4 days straight. He still loves to dress up as a ninja, Buzz Lightyear, Captain Hook, and now Batman. He also got a digital watch and he says it is always 9:58. He also has a Batman baseball cap, a wallet, and a belt....he is soooo excited to be turning 4 and things he is soooo old. He even told Cody the other night he no longer needed kisses at night....sniffle,sniffle.

Fireworks

We blew off a TON of fireworks this year with John and Shann across the street. John had some big ariel types and we are lucky we all have our fingers and toes. He was supposed to put one in a pipe,  but instead stuck it in the ground and it was a bit scary for sure! Will LOVES fireworks and Kate didn't seem to mind all the noise!

Summertime!

Will and Kate have spent many a hot summer day splashing away in the backyard. Kate loves her rubber ducky and is all laughs. She is proving to love the water just as much as her brother!

Cody emptied out Ellie's dog food can and made a new swimming spot for Will....he loved the fact he was simming in a garbage can!?

Will and I hit the Saturday morning garage sales and found 2 skateboards...Will was so excited and said, "One for me and one for Dad!!" The have been practicing together and headed down to the skatepark one day. Will quickly got the hang of it and tries to do all sorts of little tricks. Lucky we found the pads at another garage sale that day!

Tub Time Again

Uncle Ty and Will

Uncle Ty and Will go on 4 wheeling adventures together at the cabin. They ride down to the "butterfly cabin" and catch butteflies. Will is so interested in butterflies right now. He is amazing at catching them and can spend 3-4 hours trying to catch them. At the cabin this weekend he caught 9 butterflies and put them in his butterfly habitat. We spend hours each week looking for bugs and the other day Will said to me, " Mom, you are a really good Entamologist." He can identify exoskeltons, damselfies, swallowtail butterfiels, painted ladies, monarchs, cabbage butterflies, and more!!

Ellie...the best dog ever!

Critter is AMAZING with the kids. She is so patient with all of the kids' manhandling and couldn't be a better pet. She let's Will drape himself all over her, inspect her ears, pull her tail, dress her up, and snuggle her tight. I can't think of a more adorable pair.

Catch and Release Fishing

We headed up to Snowbird Resort for Will's first fishing adventure. He loved and was out there for 3 hours. It helped that the pond was stocked and we were tipped off that the lucky bait was stringcheese. They pulled in a total of 5 fish and it was a success! For Cody's birthday we got him all geared up with a fishing pole and tackle box.

Kate's 1st swimsuit...3 shades of pink, ruffles, AND bows...couldn't resist. Kate loves the water and is a good little splasher. 

Will is a FISH and is now diving off into the deep end and swimming by himself to the other side. He loves it and we can't get him to come out and have a snack. After 2-3 hours of intense swimming the kid is a wreck and completely famished. He gets out and says he needs some "real food, no chippy things." He will then take in a full adult size meal and sometimes go for round two!
