We reviewed the pictures of our time in Seattle and were talking about all the fun we had, the great family get together and the party that Will had the whole time. Grandma Meg was on the go so much with Will and Lucas that we didn't catch her in a photo, but Will and the gang want to say thanks to Grandma Meg for doing so much to make this one of our most memorable trips to Seattle with Will. Will is still saying "Gamma Meg, Set, go!"

Grandma Meg has several woodpeckers in her yard. Will now imitates a woodpecker and loves to say "way up" in the tree.

Springtime in Utah: long, wavy grass sprouted on snow-cap mountains, aspen leaves blowing a cool springtime breeze, sunshine mixed with rain, sleet, and snow.....and finally it's outside we go!!! Here is Will in the "garden" which we actually planted last week. I left a large part of our side yard for digging in the mud and worm hunting...two of Will's favorite pasttimes. He will lean over the dirt and call out, "Wummy,wummy,wummies!" It melts my heart and I absolutely love my outdoorsman. This morning we went for a 2 hour hike and he walked the entire way!!!
Kathy next door gave Will his first bike and the neighbor down the street brought an old helmet her 4 year old just outgrew. Well, my little C-section baby's head was too big for the 4 year olds helmet and so I picked this one up at a garage sale for a couple of bucks. No he is not an astronaut...but does look like a bobble head!!

Will's imagination is developing by the second. He likes to play like he is an elephant and gets down on all fours and says, "eating-grass-trunk-water-thirsty". It is hard to get a really good picture of him because he is so on the go...we will take the action shot. His little mind is always going and recently he is waking up with nightmares. He thinks goats live behind his bed and is just sure he can see them. He says, "Goats, get you. Scary. Goats bite off. Mom, hold you." Then I say, "Will, goats only live in barns and they are sleeping right now." He then replies, "Goats, blankets, barn." The conversations we are having are adorable!!
Earlier in the month Will's Great Big Grandpa and Great Grandma Doe came for a visit. We traveled up to Logan and had a wonderful time catching up with them. Highlights included playing Lego's with Grandpa, eating at cafe Rio, and enjoying the many hands!
