Grandma and Grandpa took the plunge! Grandpa must have eaten something strange while he was away in China because when he got back, he meant business, and now Will has a cabin! And he'll let you know it is his cabin. When we come around the corner, he will point and in a high pitch voice say, "That's Will's cabin!!!" But the good news is he is willing to share with the rest of us!
These two charmers played together like the best of buds while the rest of us just watched (and took too many pictures) - the horseshoe pits double as a sandbox conveniently.
The hills behind the cabin (state forest) provide plenty of room for hiking around at all times of the year...Aunt Angie, Uncle Tom, and the three of us checked it out right away and soaked up the open space!
The cabin is located on the Utah-Idaho border just up the hill from Bear Lake...we were swimming in October and sledding in November. Non-stop fun!
Will the thrill! This kiddo loves being thrown in the air, spun in circles, and anything that involves splashing around, and Dad won't pass up the opportunity either.
Uncle Ty and Aunt Carlee headed to the beach with us one day to dig around and sink their toes in the sand. Will and Ty buddied up for a bit to bury Will's legs and dig "big ones."
Where's the beach?
Mom has begun telling Will that he has to kiss her in order to do anything! Kissing is the currency he deals in now!
And where there are water and rocks, there also will be Ellie...featured here going under water for a boulder.
Grandma Dorothy and Grandpa Tom (who managed to escape the camera) stopped in on their migration from MN to AZ and got some good time with all of us during our very first weekend at the cabin.
