For our 10 year anniversary we took a 4 night, 5 day trip to southern Utah. It was heaven and I loved getting to spend interrupted time with just my Cody. We hiked, ate at amazing restaurants, watched movies, slept in, star gazed, and explored! Thanks Grandma Kath for holding down our fort and watching Will. He was so excited to have Grandma all to himself and waved goodbye without a tear!

We stayed at the old Torrey School House. It was beautifully remodeled and we were served an amazing organic breakfast from the owner's garden.
We hiked to the "Pioneer Register" and saw were the pioneer's scratched their names in the red rock.

We stayed at the Slot Canyon Inn in Escalante, Utah. The property consists of 160 acres and has ancient Navajo Indian remains and petroglyphs and pictographs on the rock wall. Amazing spot to star gaze as well...we would sit out on the deck at night and look at the milky way and count shooting stars.

Our last stop of the trip was to Bryce Canyon.
Our trip was so refreshing and we loved spending time just the two of us. We were ready to head home and see our little Will. He has fun with Grandma Kath but was thrilled to see us. He did get his 1st ear infection and Grandma had to take him to the doctor. A few days ago heasked me when we were going on another trip so he could have Grandma all to himself!! Thanks again, Mom!
